CODING CLASSES

At five libraries in Santa Clara & Alameda counties:

  • Variety of Courses (HTML, Python, App Development, Scala, Java & Scratch)
  • Around 150 students attended
  • 14 volunteer Instructors & 230 hours of teaching

INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS

Schools Adopted:

  •  Introduced daily reading habits, reading logs, and book projects in Indian schools
  • Shipped 1900 books to India
  • 1680 Indian Students are benefiting from our books

Books & School Supplies – Drives:

  • 140 hour of volunteering to collect books
  • 2000 books to Bay Area charities

Volunteers visited Indian schools to mentor students :

  • Visited volunteers enjoyed their mentoring experience
  • Indian students got to see the value of book reading

SERVICE AT SHELTERS & REHAB CENTERS

City Team – Every last Saturday of the month

  • Meal prep & serve about 200 to 300 residents & guests from street
  • organize shelter warehouse with collected donations
  • Organize pantry with donated food items

San Jose Family Supportive Housing

  • Raised & spent $3,000 to feed  the poor
  • Every 2nd Sunday of the month cook & serve 50 to 60 people

Sacred Heart

  • organize shelter warehouse with collected donations
  • Hand out packed food to needy people

  • Evergreen Times- San Jose Local Newspaper – 2 times
  • Alameda Times – San Jose Local Newspaper – 1 time
  • KCBS Radio on air -1 time
  • India’s District Newspaper – 1 time
  • 1170 AM KLOK Radio – On air 1 time
  • Documentary in Indian media

  • Approved President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) certifying organization.
