The Gala

Our Light Up Lives Gala will be held on September 20, 2025, in Palo Alto, CA. It is one evening to make the double impact—100% for the Cause.

Your contribution will play a pivotal role in advancing our educational initiatives and transforming the lives of orphaned children with disabilities.

We appreciate the opportunity to discuss this further.

Support Disabled Orphans

The Need:

Every child deserves love, dignity, and the opportunity to thrive. Yet, mentally and physically disabled orphans remain among the most forgotten and marginalized members of our society. Born with challenges they did not choose, many are abandoned by their families and left to navigate life without the care, support, or love every child needs. But you have the power to change that.

For the past seven years, we have been supporting 71 disabled orphans at Asha Jyothi Handicapped Welfare Society in India, providing them with essentials like therapy, compassionate caregivers, nutritious meals, mobility aids, hygiene care, education, and emotional support. We have 24 girls and 47 boys. They all have some kind of disability, such as Cerebral Palsy, Cognitive Impairment, Epilepsy, Neurological Disability, Autism, Polio, Schizophrenia, and many more. To continue this life-changing work, we need your help.

These children may not have a traditional family, but with your support, they can have something just as meaningful: a community that believes in them and cares deeply. This is not just charity—it’s an act of compassion, justice, and shared humanity. Please stand with us. Because when we lift the most vulnerable, we all rise together.

Trexcel

TrExcel - Scholarship Competition for High School students from low-income families in the Bay Area.

TrExcel is a scholarship team competition that combines STEM, Arts, & Fitness. At the heart of TrExcel lies a simple yet powerful belief: when underserved youth are given the right opportunities, they rise. Many students from low-income communities hesitate to participate in competitions due to a lack of resources, mentorship, or exposure.

TrExcel changes that. By creating a supportive and inclusive platform, we help students build confidence, discover their talents, and experience the joy of achievement. With guidance from mentors and the encouragement of peers, these youth realize that their voices matter and their ideas can make a difference. TrExcel isn't just a competition—it's a launch pad for potential, self-belief, and future success.

Empower And Excel is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Federal tax ID number 473656395.
