February 2019 – Newsletter

We kicked off our New Year to a great start with our various volunteering initiatives! We logged in 350+ hours in January itself.

February was also a busy month for us as we spread our love through a variety of activities ranging from spending time with our special friends, sorting donations, cooking and serving food at shelters, helping seniors with laundry and tech issues to entertaining them with a melody of music.  We logged in 355 hours in February 2019.

Again, a reminder to please log your volunteer hours in PVSA.
We will start auditing hours in 2 weeks and request for PVSA for qualified volunteers. So logging your hours is very important and we can’t take responsibility if you miss logging and can’t get the award on time.

If you need to create an account, instructions document is at this following link: https://empowerexcel.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/PVSA-Volunteer-account-setup-.pdf

End of April we will have our annual volunteer appreciation event to acknowledge all our volunteers and their selfless service to make a difference in the community.
